Specializations Therapeutic Massage blends a variety of massage and energetic techniques to relax muscle tissue and provide relief from stress, spasms, soreness, fatigue, and other neuromuscular issues. Shoulder and Neck Massage involves a combination of pressure point work, rotation, stretching, breathing, and cold laser therapy that relieves acute and/or chronic pain and tension. Trigger Point Work relieves muscular issues though direct pressure applied to specific points of tension that affect a whole region or pattern of holding in the body. Cold Laser Therapy uses low-intensity or low levels of laser light to reduce pain and inflammation in joints, muscle tissue and along nerve pathways*. *While anecdotal evidence shows that cold laser therapy may be an effective treatment option, it is still in the investigational stages of study. Orion’s Light cannot, therefore, make any substantiated claims toward its proven efficacy at this time.
