Healing from Stress
Saturday, January 30th:  10:00AM-11:30AM
Stress can create many problems both within our bodies and our lives.  We will discuss how herbs can help relax our body and mind, strengthen our nervous and endocrine system and prevent major health related issues.     Cost:  $20
 
Herbal Tinctures
Thursday, February 11th:  7:00PM-8:00PM
Herbal Tinctures are very easy to make at home.  We will talk about how to tincture herbs, which ones to use and how often to take them.  Please bring questions related to your own specific health issues.

Art Therapy Workshop
Wednesday, February 17th:  5:00PM-7:00PM
Create, explore, play and experience the healing effect of art making in this supportive and nurturing group environment! Using a variety of media including drawing, collage and painting, art therapy encourages deeper personal awareness and helps you communicate ideas and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. Develop deeper insights about balancing your life. Gain fresh perspectives about personal relationships. Expand your hopes and dreams, and more in a playful and nurturing environment. Art making also promotes a sense of joy, peace and relaxation which helps reduce stress and anxiety. You do not have to be an artist to participate.

Kathryn "Kat" Johnston is a professional art therapist who has worked with a variety of ages and diverse populations and hold a Masters Degree in Creative Art Therapy from Drexel/ Hahnemann University.

Fee: $25 per session
